My Father’s Love

An inspiring true story of how God replaces sexual abuse with authentic love.

In Search of Authentic Love…
Ella’s daddy said he loved her, yet he let alcohol get in the way. Ella’s
mom said she loved her, yet she treated her with disdain. Ella’s
stepfather said he loved her, yet he swore her to silence about their
“special” relationship.

With the help of her husband, a caring pastor, and a similarly abused
friend, Ella was able to replace these lies with the truth of God’s love.
The truth that set her on the road to recovery.

Beyond Ella’s personal, gripping story, My Father’s Love shows both
victims and those who want to help them how to…
• Deal with the emotions of anger, guilt, confusion,
helplessness, lack of trust
• Work through the difficulties in marriage and other adult
relationships that result from childhood abuse
• Begin the journey to healing and reconciliation

“Self-Assessment Questions” for victims and special “Helper’s Focus”
section for counselors guide the readers through each step of the
recovery process.
