Ordained in 1972, Dr. Talley has many years of ministry experience in teaching and developing innovative ministries. He was a leader in the “Jesus Movement” 1970-1976. He developed a strong ministry to thirty to fifty year old married couples at First Baptist Church, Modesto, California. As a singles pastor, he also built an internationally recognized singles ministry that has trained leaders from over ten countries. He was the former director of the National Singles Conference He was also long-term member of the National Association of Singles Adult Leaders (NASL).
Married Joyce Burr on December 22, 1961. Together, they have three children and eight grandchildren. They have lived lives of moral integrity.
